This is a hole in the wall kind of place that is well worth the visit! We are hoping to come back soon to try the brunch menu. This area of KY has a lot of music history and it certainly carries over into the establishment.

Come for the food, drinks, amazing atmosphere and stay for the entertainment! What the new owner has done to MH is nothing short of miraculous. The food is amazing (truffle fries with entrees - um, yum!), the drinks are crafted/poured/served with care, the selection of food and drink is awesome - everyone in your group will be satisfied. The live bands are so much fun! A little bonus: sometimes the owner will jump in and play guitar with the bands for a song or two. How cool is that? This is seriously such a great and fun time all the time, all around!

What a gem! We were walking back to our hotel from dinner and stopped in for some live music. Beer was inexpensive. Tori the bartender was great.

Cozy local spot. Feels almost like a cabin, with lots of wood paneling. From the decor you’ll note that Reds fans are more than welcome. If the flyers on the walls (and in the ladies restroom) are accurate, looks like they have live music every evening of the week (!) Note: I came in the daytime, so wasn’t able to benefit from that- maybe next time. Service was friendly. My overall take: Worth checking out. Not fancy and not a chain/franchise - pure local flavor, in the best way.

Great bar for local live music every night (especially the blues), including open mic Tuesdays. Almost all shows are free (generous tips much appreciated). There's a rich history and great story about the bar and building it's in. Lots of cool photos of musicians plus Marilyn Monroe and other classic era celebrities). The bar was full of friendly music lovers and bartender Kyle was awesome - made me feel right at home. They have a patio and you can get food too. It's also a short walk from Newport on the Levee.
